 The Russian army dealt a major blow to Ukraine's counteroffensive in the last 24 hours as the Ukraine army recorded maximum number of casualties.  The Kremlin has defended Russia's decision to arm local militias in Belgorod and Kursk regions bordering Ukraine. The volunteers were provided with anti-drone guns, assault rifles and off-road UAZ vehicles.
