Northern California snow and rain update at 7 p.m.

 The next round of rain and snow is expected to cause travel impacts for Northern California on Tuesday evening through Wednesday. Chain controls went up on Interstate 80 in the Sierra around 7:p.m. due to snowfall. Rain reached the Valley after sunset on Tuesday. Rain in the Sacramento area started around 6 p.m.
