LIVE: 400 feared dead as Spain braces for more rain
More than 400 people are feared to have died in the catastrophic flooding in southeast Spain this week, the country’s worst natural disaster in memory.
A large-scale emergency response has intensified amid rising public anger at the perceived failure of the authorities to warn of the danger. The national death toll rose to 205 on Friday — but officials said that 250 people were still missing in the Valencia region alone.
