Disneyland Parks will no longer feature the Evil Queen (from ‘Snow White’) and other villains as year-round performers. Villainous characters will return during Halloween season only.

Disneyland announced it will limit villain characters like the Evil Queen to Halloween season only starting November 2025, reverting from recent year-round appearances at parks like Disneyland Resort, as confirmed by Disney fan sites and internal cast member communications.

This shift follows a 2023 expansion of villains into permanent roles to boost attendance, but aligns with post-holiday cost-cutting, amid speculation of broader operational changes at Disney parks facing economic pressures.

The post sparked viral humor in replies, with over 700 responses praising the Evil Queen's performer for "outshining" others and jokingly blaming the live-action Snow White casting, driving 925,000 views in hours.
