A lady at the grocery store shows that every single thing she picks up now says “Contains bioengineered ingredients” “I'm here at Aldi, and almost everything they have contains bioengineered food ingredients.” This is all fake food."

The post shares a video of a woman at Aldi supermarket revealing "Contains bioengineered food ingredients" labels on nearly every packaged item she checks, from bagel skins to protein bars, amplifying concerns about pervasive GMO use in U.S. grocery staples since the 2022 National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard.

Bioengineered labeling applies to foods with detectable modified genetic material from lab techniques, primarily affecting corn, soy, and canola derivatives, but exempts highly refined products without traceable DNA, allowing some GMO items to evade disclosure per USDA guidelines.

Despite public alarm over health impacts, a 2016 National Academy of Sciences report—based on over 900 studies—concludes GMOs pose no greater risks than conventional foods, though critics highlight the absence of long-term human epidemiological data and potential environmental effects.
