Using a long insulated stick, the lineman gently nudges and encourages the bear to climb down. After a few tense moments, the bear finally descends and runs off into the woods unharmed.


The incident highlights the growing black bear population in parts of Arizona, where curious young bears occasionally climb utility poles, putting themselves at serious risk of electrocution. Viewers praised the worker’s calm and skillful handling of the situation, with many calling him a hero. In a humorous twist, the bear is seen immediately heading toward another pole after being rescued.
